Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
As a New Zealand business, our services are subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This means:
- Our services must be provided with reasonable care and skill
- Services must be fit for the particular purpose you've made known to us
- Services must be completed within a reasonable time (or within the agreed timeframe)
- You have rights to remedies if services don't meet these guarantees
These guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified for consumers. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Service Agreements
Before beginning any restoration project, we will provide:
- A detailed assessment of your item's condition
- An estimate of costs and timeline
- A written agreement outlining the scope of work
- Information about your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act
Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. We require a deposit before beginning work, with the balance due upon completion and your approval of the restoration. Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.
Limitations of Liability
Whilst we exercise care and skill in all restoration work, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes due to the nature of restoration. The Consumer Guarantees Act provides certain protections, but we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions not disclosed during assessment
- Damage resulting from normal wear and tear after restoration
- Items that cannot be restored due to their condition (we'll advise you of this before beginning work)
- Consequential or indirect losses (except as required by law)
Our liability is limited to the cost of the restoration service provided. We recommend that valuable items have appropriate insurance coverage.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of chraxellxluzarin and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
User Conduct
You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New Zealand, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, and Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
